With the year 2008 almost finished Tinsil town brought movie lovers well over 275 films. Out of all these movies, something like 70, or so, are made with laughter in mind. We will leave you with a short list of the best funny movies made this year.

MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA: As I’m sure you know, this is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Madagascar. Our four animal stars are ready to go back to New York’s famous Central Park Zoo, which is the only home they know. With things going wrong again, due to the Penguins, they are heading off to their true homeland, Africa.

ROLE MODELS: Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (William Scott) who sell energy drinks, are facing jail time because they binged and trashed the company truck. The way they can avoid jail time is to perform 150 hours of community service. The catch is they will have to work as mentors with difficult children in a community service program. A good situation for some good laughs.

TROPIC THUNDER: With a collection of acting greats we soon see this movie is a claasic parody of popular war films. To get a realistic performance from his spoiled actors to make a true epic masterpiece, the desperate director into the jungle, and leaves them on thier own. His plan is to frightnen them so they will produce a work of genius, which hidden cameras will capture. When the director blows up on an old French land mine, the crew is left on its own, and they think there acting, but the bullets flying are actually real. Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and Tom Cruise star.

ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO: The bills are piling up and Zack and Miri, life long platonic friends who live together, are desperate to make some money. What’s their solution? That’s obvious, start making pornos. As you might expect this sets the stage for a fun movie.

STEP BROTHERS: When two child like older men, who still live with their single parents, find themselves having to share a bedroom because their mom and dad get married, you can only imagine the mess. With Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in those roles, and the table is set for a very fun film. This movie is a must see if your looking for some laughs.

PINEAPPLE EXPRESS: Heavy pot smoker Dale Denton in a stroke of bad luck, has seen a bad police officer, and a big time dealer, commit a killing. They see him witness the crime. Sure that he has been spotted, he drops his joint of pineapple express, and takes off. This joint is such a unique type of weed, that the bad guys can. The game is on, as Dale and his dealer Saul are on the run.

HAMLET 2: Unsucessful actor Dana Marshz now finds himself teaching theater classes at the high school to uninspired high schoolers. The school loses a building due to destruction, so the powers to be feel the acting classes will be what is dropped. Fully inspired, he plans to save the program by producing Hamlet 2, a new version of the classic, which he put to paper himself.

FORGETTING SAHRAH MARSHALL: Grief stricken from a break up with Sarah, a television actor, Peter (Jason Segal) decides to escape to Hawaii to recover from his depression. As one might expect, upon checking into the resort, the first thing he sees is sarah and her new boyfriend, a rock star super stud. This movie has all the ingredients of a thoughtful romantic comedy.
